Mr. Hunter founded Burdette Capital Management in May 2000 and founded Dett Hunter LLC in April 2000, a private investment fund, which has returned 2X invested capital. He also started Life Equity LLC in 2000, one of the largest life settlement servicing firms in the world, with a reputation for integrity and transparency.
Prior to founding his organizations, Mr. Hunter was the managing Partner of the Cleveland office of Arthur Andersen LLP. He was responsible for the expansion of this office from 160 professionals to over 340 professionals in the last four years. From 1996 to 1998, he was the managing partner of the Ohio Practice of Arthur Andersen LLP, with responsibility for over 900 personnel in 21 units operating throughout Cincinnati, Dayton, Cleveland, Columbus, and Louisville.
Mr. Hunter has been consulting with mid-market and public companies in a variety of industries.
