A Stage-Gate® Idea-to-Launch Process outlines the various specific steps we take for the overall “large-picture” operation. This tool is key to our planning and execution for your product development and prevents us both from over-extending ourselves with undue risk. Conversely, this process requires a detailed up-front analysis to help ensure the project is successful.
Unlike what you’ll often find with existing medical device manufacturers, Empower Medical Devices will be with you every step of the way. We won’t turn our backs on you once an agreement is signed.
We conduct regular review meetings with you as part of our Stage-Gate® Idea-to-Launch Process. These formal review meetings are run by our Gatekeepers, and they occur after each step is completed in the process. You are included among the Gatekeepers and you participate in the important decisions made at these review sessions.

As part of this stage, the product concept is defined, along with its intended functional attributes and benefits to the patient and the doctor.
We begin examining the viability of the product idea with a Proof of Concept. This is an initial assessment of the manufacturability of the product, market demand and profitability.
Based on this investigation, management commits to funding the Concept Development phase and the project moves forward. The Concept Development phase encompasses the following assessment:
